It was a two days of power and insight as the Head of Youth and Campus Ministries, Pastor (Dr) Tunde Ojo in company of his wife, Dr (Mrs) Esther Titilayo Ojo visited Osun Field of the GOFAMINT Students’ Fellowship.
The first day was characterized with anointed worship lead by the Faith Generation Choir (FGC), Minister Nifemi Alao and Minister Fisayo Adebayo.
Dr Tunde Ojo brought a powerful charge on the theme, OVERFLOW, emphasizing that it takes another spirit to experience an overflowing life. Noah was just a man like every other person until he found grace in God’s sight.
He explained that Abraham was rich yet barren and it took an encounter with the God of Overflow to perfect that which concerns him. Those who experience the overflow are made young and renewed like the eagle (Psalm 103:5).
He concluded the first night by charging the congregation about pitfalls to avoid in living an overcomer’s life and how to take possession of an another spirit:
Do not fear the giant, avoid self-defeated spirit, break loose from indiscipline, indecision and lack of self-control, be determined and stop all negative voices.
The second day was not short of glorious. After the opening intercession, the Faith Generation Choir (FGC) again lead the congregation in series of “overflowing” renditions.
From here, Dr Tunde Ojo commenced with a session of prophetic declarations and praying for the sick.
After this, he powerfully delivered the main message of the day on HOW TO CHOOSE A FUTURE PARTNER. He reiterated that truths are stronger than facts and in the choice of a partner, the truth of God’s word must be learnt.
One of such truth is to delight in the Lord, and he will give the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). He explained that to find a worthy spouse, it must be searched out of the hidden. He encouraged the congregation not to be given to fear of falling in love (Philophobia).
He explained that one key decision to be made at the start of love adventure is, “who am I to please by my choice of a partner?” He answered that God and yourself must top the list.
He ended by charging the congregation to build themselves as they trust God for a partner far above rubies; build spirituality, build character, build emotional capacity, build career skills and build human relations skills.
The meeting ended with a session of questions and answers that brought joy to the heart of all attendees. Obviously the Field can never be the same after this Apostolic Visitation.
