The GOFAMINT Students’ Fellowship, GSF formerly known as Gospel Students’ Fellowship has sent her former Field Pastor, Pastor Blessed Segun Ajayi and former National Coordinating Minister, Pastor Richard Ologbonyo forth.
Pastor Ologbonyo who have served in Gospel Faith Mission International, GOFAMINT and GSF for many years had received a leading to leave GOFAMINT and start ministry, while Pastor Ajayi left GSF to becoming the chaplain of Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA.
In his speech, Ologbonyo revealed that God spoke to him in October 2014, it was so direct and clear that he was going to start a new ministry but he struggled a lot that for two solid years he couldn’t even share it with his wife despite they sleep on same bed, but exactly two years he broke the news to her.
He disclosed that he was restrained because he has been very keen on students and youths staying in GOFAMINT, so it was very difficult for him to share with anyone because it was difficult to understand.
Due to his love for the church and the youth he created a branch known as GOFAMINT Satellite assembly which was the first church that sent him forth. He stated in his speech that when he moved from satellite assembly, the attendance did not change because they have come to the understanding of God’s presence.
Ologbonyo who has spent 38years in Gospel Faith Mission International and 13years in GOFAMINT Student Fellowship said he is glad that despite his exist GSF is moving on stronger because predecessor without a successful successor is a total failure. He declared openly that he is a product of GOFAMINT, saying there is nowhere he would tell his story without mentioning name of the church.
The wives of the two pastors with their children were also in attendance. Authority of the church was ably represented by the General Secretary of the church, Pastor Femi OMowunmi.
